What an amazing day at the Forest Street Halloween Parade! Yesterday was filled with joy as so many children showed up in their fantastic costumes, lighting up the streets with their wonderful smiles. From spooky ghosts to adorable superheroes, the creativity was off the charts! A huge thank you to everyone who participated and made this event such a success. Can’t wait for next year











The Forrest City School District Food Bank will be open today (Thursday) from 9 a.m. to Noon. The Food Bank is located at on the ABC Pre-School campus at 149 N. Water Street. The Kiwanis Club of Forrest City will hold its annual Pancake Day Fundraiser, Tuesday, November 5th at the First Baptist Church Gym at 507 N. Rosser Street in Forrest City.
Tickets are $10 in advance and $11 at the door. Serving times are 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4-7 p.m.
Meals will include pancakes, sausage, bacon, a beverage of choice and accompaniments. Tickets are available from any Kiwanis Club member.
This annual fundraiser supports numerous activities and organizations throughout the year with an emphasis on children in the community.
Sponsorship opportunities and dining placemat ads are currently available.

Halloween Safety Tips


Due to possible inclement weather on Thursday (10/31), the Forrest Street Parade has been moved up to Wednesday (10/30) from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Also, the Trunk or Treat event in Palestine has been moved to Wednesday (10/30) from 5:30-7:00 p.m.

-The Forrest City High School Class of 2025 will host the annual Trunk or Treat on Tuesday, Oct. 29, beginning at 6 p.m. in the high school faculty parking lot on Victoria Street. The festivities will include a Trunk Contest so decorate your cars and fill those trunks with treats.
