Youth Photography Camp will be held March 23rd at the St. Francis County Extension Office and March 24th at the Wiley T. Jones Fairgrounds in Forrest City.
The camp will be held both days from 1-3 p.m. and is geared toward youth ages 8-19.

The St. Francis County Cooperative Extension Office will sponsor a couple of youth oriented programs in Forrest City this month.
A Babysitting Basics class will be held March 25th and 26th from 12-4 p.m. in the Community Room at Woodruff Electric.
The class is for youth ages 10 and older who want to learn about safely caring for children.
The cost is $75 per student, which covers CPR and First Aid training. The fee will be paid to the instructor on the 2nd day of the class.

The City of Forrest City in Conjunction with the Arkansas Cancer Coalition and the University of Arkansas Cooperative Extension Service will be hosting a workshop, Monday March 16, 2026, at 5:30pm on Growing a Garden, a raised garden or a tiny in ground garden in a space up to 3’x12’ feet. Mr. Van Banks and others will be presenting at the workshop.
The Workshop will include Building a Metal Raised Garden, filled with compost and other materials used to start a garden. Seeds, compost, fertilizer, and other items will be given away along with a chance to win 8- metal raised gardens.
We encourage everyone to come- We think, We know it will be a great experience growing your own food. Come and learn how to grow a garden on March16 at 5:30p at the Larry S. Bryant Wellness Center located at 2510 South Washington.
