The ONE Razorback Roadshow set for an eight-city bus tour starting May 13.Forrest City was one of the stops where everyone gathered at Legacy restaurant on East Broadway for a lunch event. They presented Mayor Larry S. Bryant with a Razorback Street Sign. The One Razorback Roadshow is a part of Razorback Athletics’ ongoing commitment to be involved in communities across Arkansas.

The Food Bank of Northeast Arkansas will host drive-thru mobile distribution in St. Francis County on Thursday, May 16, 2024 from 8 – 10AM or until food runs out at the following location: Larry S. Bryant Wellness Center & Sports Complex located at 2510 S. Washington St. in Forrest City. Persons receiving USDA foods must reside in St. Francis County. Recipients must also meet the income guidelines that have been set for The Emergency Food Assistance Program. For more information call Natalie Neal at 870-932-3663.

"A great place to stop, stay & shop." SHARE - AR State Health Alliance for Records Exchange Congratulations are due to Ms. Ariel Barnes, teller at Forrest City Water Utility. Ms. Barnes was the winner of the April drawing. April was Oral Awareness Month. The Share Health Education Campaign includes 12 ready-to-distribute workplace newsletters and educational handouts for each month's health topics. The content has important health highlights, clinical screening recommendations (if applicable) current scientific/ medical guidelines relative to the topic as well as recipes and an interactive activity. The interactive activity has been designed to increase employee engagement. Research studies have shown that hands-on, experimental actions (kinesthetic learning) not only generate more participation, but also influences knowledge, attitudes, beliefs, and future health behaviors.
